What is GAPP?

The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Georgia Medicaid program designed to provide medically necessary in-home nursing and personal care services for eligible children with complex or chronic medical needs. Depending on eligibility, GAPP may help families access skilled nursing care and personal support services at home instead of in an institutional setting.

Who may qualify?

Eligibility is determined by Georgia Medicaid, not by TrueCare. Children who may qualify typically include:

• Children who are Medicaid-eligible in Georgia
• Children with a qualifying medical diagnosis or complex care needs
• Children whose physician recommends in-home care services
• Families who meet GAPP program requirements, where applicable
